Takoma Park Elementary Donation Drive-2018
This year Kids Adventures Takoma Park teamed up with Rising Hope, a church that shelters those in need as well as Comfort Cases, a donation center that gathers supply’s for children in the foster care system. We collected canned goods and clothing for Rising Hope and collected backpacks, pjs, journals, toiletries, stuffed animals and blankets for Comfort Cases. In all the donation drive was a great success and we are very grateful for everyone who helped however they could.
Rock Creek Park Cleanup-2018
This spring Kids Adventures Candlewood and Kids Adventures Piney Branch teamed up with the Audubon Naturalist Society to clean up Rock Creek Park. The children learned about how pollutants effects the creek and then spent the day collecting trash that has accumulated in the Rays Meadow Park over the years.
