Philosophy
Kids Adventures is dedicated to providing a safe, active, and enriching environment for children of all abilities. We strive to create a feeling of caring, cooperation, and self-worth so children can safely explore and grow as unique individuals.
We encourage children to interact with their peers and with caring adults in an environment where activities are provided that meet the needs of individual children, are age appropriate, match the skill level and interests of the children. We offer a balance of child-initiated and teacher directed activities reflecting the interests of children and their home language and cultural background.
We encourage close interaction between our families and our program, as an open relationship between caregivers and parents will ensure the success of each child’s experience in our program. We welcome and invite all members of the families into our preschool and school age programs. Every member of our Kids Adventures family, staff, parents, and children have the opportunity to participate in planning of the programs and activities that fill the unique needs of everyone involved.
Kids Adventures staff use positive behavioral strategies to support children that include: providing choices; using redirection, reflection, and problem solving. We strongly advocate for the significance of early care and education that enhances children’s present and future growth.
